Where is Rotorua


New Zealand - Aotearoa - Population 4,009,500 - is located in the South Pacific Ocean, approx 2000km South-East of Australia, is made up of three main islands - the North Island, South Island & Stewart Island.

Rotorua - Located in the central North Island is well connected to the rest of New Zealand and the world through a network of air, road and rail links. The city is less than 3 hours drive from Auckland (234km), New Zealand's largest population centre with 1 250,000 people, and only 457km from Wellington.

Within easy driving distance of Rotorua is Tauranga, which contains New Zealand's largest export port. It serves the Bay of Plenty and the central North Island and is an important link in New Zealand's growing international trade.
