Workshops Workshops at the 2006 Rotorua Economic Opportunity Forum centred on the six new areas of opportunity identified through the Future Drivers of Change process. Every Forum participant was able to attend one of the hour-long workshops for an in-depth briefing on the area of opportunity, and a chance to contribute suggestions, ask questions and discuss aspects with others at the workshop. Feedback from the workshops strongly favours holding further workshops to report progress by the BrightEconomy Board on its work programme in each area of opportunity, and to allow more opportunities for interested parties to participate, learn and contribute. As a result the BrightEconomy Board has decided to organise further workshops, starting later this year.
